Our Ministries

We wish to see each member of the body functioning

in his or her gifts and calling, and desire to see in Ephesians 4:12

“equipping the saints for the work of ministry,

for the edifying of the body of Christ”

We are a Spirit-filled church with open meetings where we practice following the flow     of the Holy Spirit as stated in 1 Corinthians 14:26

“Whenever you come together, each of you has a psalm, has a teaching,

has a tongue, has a revelation, has an interpretation.

Let all things be done for edification.”

We are learning to be voluntary lovers of the Lord Jesus Christ, forsaking sin and selfishness as we learn radical obedience by His grace.

Music Ministry – Edify the Lord through music within River of Life Fellowship. Assist members in developing their individual talents and gifting. Support other ministries within the church as the Lord leads and allows. Seek out opportunities to minister outside of the church.

Prayer Chain Ministry – To keep the members informed of prayer needs. We presently use the internet as well as other means of communication. Also, Thursday evening prayer at 7:30pm.

Youth Ministry – To provide a safe environment for Teens to come for fellowship, fun, and learning. One in which each young person can express themselves freely, honestly, openly, learning to flourish in their relationship to God, each other, and with the Youth Leaders. To provide from time to time activities which will allow the teen to use his or her God given abilities and gifts to God’s Glory.

Children’s Ministry –  To teach our children to “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.” (Col 3:16)

Drama Ministry – To minister to, enhance and encourage the body of Christ in their daily walk by the use of Drama. To be used as a tool of Evangelism to the unsaved, elderly, and prisoners to the Glory of God.

Men’s Ministry – Men sharing a meal and fellowship together, encouraging one another to be everything God has called them to be as men of God, husbands, and fathers.

Special Needs – To come alongside persons or situations in need of help by matching the skills and availability of those willing to give of their time and talents.
